John R. Savini, age 89, passed away on April 24, 2025 at Wilson Hospital in Johnson City, NY.

John was born December 27, 1935 in Stoughton, MA to Angelo Savini and Thelma E. Harris Savini. John married the love of his life, Nancy Mae Savini on October 27, 1956 in Stoughton, MA.

When John wasn't fishing, camping or hunting, he enjoyed spending time with his family and being a part of The Northfield Community Church.

John is survived by his beloved wife Nancy, his children; Mark (Margaret) Savini, Scott (Kathy) Savini, and Michael (Lori) Savini.  His grandchildren, Cheryl, John, Tucker, Michael and Chase.  His great-grandchildren, Gillian and River.

He was preceded in death by his parents Angelo and Thelma Savini, his brother William Savini and his sister, Barbara Gelman.

Services for John R. Savini will be held on Saturday May 10th, 2025, at 11am at Northfield Community Church, located at 5116 County Highway 23, Walton, NY 13856 with Pastor Randy Palada officiating. Burial will follow at Walton Cemetery at 12:15pm with full Navy military honors.

Following the service, we invite all to join the family at the church for a luncheon, a time to share stories and celebrate the life of John, reflecting on the memories that he gifted us.
