Jon Armstrong passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 11, 2023.

Born January 6, 1952 in Walton, NY to the late Laurence and Arletta (Storrer) Armstrong. Jon was one of seven children.

Jon graduated from Walton Central High School in 1970. He married Marilyn (Fletcher) on November 30, 1974. He worked with Earl Sines on the Sines Family Farm and later became Partner, then Owner of the Delaware Sport Center, until his recent retirement. He enjoyed spending time with his family, reading, golfing, the Dallas Cowboys, playing pinochle with his girls, and snowmobiling.

Jon is survived by his wife of 49 years, Marilyn, his daughter, Mrs. Jami Aubin (Al), his son, Dr. Heith Armstrong (Susan), four grandchildren, Noah Jon and Logan Aubin, Maura, and Jude Armstrong.

He is also survived by his loving mother, Arletta and his siblings, Mickey (Pam), Vickie Winkler (Frank), Reva Jones (Steve), Tracy (Eileen), Laurie Armstrong, Barry (Linda) and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at the New Hope Church on Stockton Avenue in Walton from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm. The family in in the care of Courtney Funeral Home, Walton.
