Joseph Leal Saborido, 90, of Vero Beach, FL died Saturday, November 21, 2009 at the Indian River Medical Center. Mr. Saborido was born November 15, 1919 in New Rochelle, NY and moved to Vero Beach 22 years ago from Orient, Long Island, NY.

He served in the U.S. Army during WWII and was the president of Mauer & Associates, Inc., a textile consulting firm in NYC. Mr. Saborido was of the Catholic faith, a member of the American Legion in Greenport, NY, a lifetime member of the NRA, and an avid sportsman who loved the outdoors and his animals.

Survivors include his dear friend Alyce Spinosa of Vero Beach; daughter and son-in-law Patricia and Reiner Lollot of Walton, NY; sister Dolores Saborido of New York City; and daughter in law Jeanette Saborido of Melbourne, FL. He was predeceased by his son Robert Douglas Saborido.

Interment will be in New York.
