Joseph M. Tubridy, 86, of Walton passed away after a long illness on Sunday, December 21, 2014 at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown, NY.
Joseph was born on May 13, 1928 in Queens, the son of the late Michael and Delia (Gerraghty) Tubridy. On May 14, 1960 he married the former Anne "Nancy" Deyo.
Joseph was an Accountant for Lone Star Cement in NYC, and was also employed by Parking Violations Bureau in NYC. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church in Walton and the Knights of Columbus of Englishtown, New Jersey and Delhi, New York.
Joseph enjoyed riding his bike, reading novels, and baseball games with his family.
Joseph is survived by his loving family: his wife, "Nancy", his son, Michael and Andrea of Freehold, NJ; his grandchildren, Kelly, Shannon, and Erin, his brother, Martin (Marlane)of Weston, CT; his sister, Ann Fee of Richardson, TX; his brother in law, Walter Barra of Queens; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, John and sister, Catherine Barra.
A memorial Mass will be held at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church,25 Benton Avenue, Walton on Tuesday, December 30,2014 at 11AM with Rev. Edward J. Golding, Celebrant and St. Rose Lime RC Church, Freehold, New Jersey, at a date and time to be announced. Burial will be private in St. Patricks Cemetery, Port Henry, New York.
