Josephine G. Ambrette, 95, of Walton passed away Friday evening, September 2, 2016 at home, surrounded by her family.

Josephine was born on September 15, 1920 in Rochester, NY the daughter of the late Alfonso and Ninnetta (Guginno) Gioia. She married Paul Ambrette on May 3, 1950 in Rochester, NY. He died in 1960 at 48.

Josephine was employed in the family business by Bravo Macaroni & Food Production in Rochester. She spent many years in Orlando and Walton, gardening, antiquing and investing.

Josephine is survived by her loving family, two daughters: Gioia Ambrette and her partner Barbara Bennett of Walton, and Lisa Ambrette-Tellechea of Orlando, FL; 3 grandchildren, Conrad Ambrette III, Boston, MA; Paul Tellechea, Miami; and Alex Tellechea, Royal Palm Beach, FL; several nieces, nephews, cousins and special caregivers and beloved friends, Lisa Rhinehart and Dar Darling. She was predeceased by a son, Conrad Ambrette II, 4 brothers, Anthony, Horace, Alfonso and Joseph and a sister, Bess.
