Joyce L. Kurdt, 88, of Downsville passed away early Saturday morning, August 19, 2023 at Robinson Terrace Nursing Home of Stamford, NY.

Joyce was born on September 13, 1934, in Brooklyn, NY. the daughter of the late Joseph and Dorothy (Palmer) Mellor. She married Robert L. Kurdt on December 27, 1953. She was a member of the Women's Club of Downsville and the American Legion Auxiliary.

Joyce is survived by her loving family, her husband: Bob, three sons: Robert L. (Denise) Kurdt Jr. of Castleton, NY, John T. (Carol) Kurdt of Gastonia, NC,Gary J. (Aimee) Kurdt of Garden City , NY, grandchildren, Ben, Gabrielle and Ron, Brian & Jenny, David, Sarah & Rob, Florina and great grandchildren, Samuel, Andrew, Philip, Julia, and Chloe.

The family is being cared for by the Courtney Funeral Home, Walton.
