Julia A. Kessler, 97 of Trout Creek, passed away Sunday morning, April 9, 2006

at Valley View Manor, Norwich, after a long illness.

Mrs. Kessler was born in Ridgewood, NY, on February 20, 1909, the daughter of the late William and Theresa Lyendencker Groen. On April 3, 1937 she married Rudolph J. Kessler in Brooklyn. He died on September 29, 2000. She was employed by Amphenol Corp. of Sidney as an inspector. Julia loved to sew and cook.

She is survived by one son; Ralph Kessler, and his wife Betty of Trout Creek; 2 step grandchildren, Bruce King and Richard VanWie; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends and relatives are invited to call on Wednesday morning, April 12, 2006 from 10-11 AM at the Clark, Winter & Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend St, where services will be held at 11 AM with the Rev.Jennifer Matson Juliano officiating. Burial will be in Carroll Cemetery, Trout Creek.
