June Rose Phoenix passed away at the age of 77 on Friday, December 15, 2023, at Delaware Valley Hospital in Walton, NY.

She is survived by her husband John. A. Phoenix, her daughter Rhonda (John) Terry of Hamden, NY, her son John S. Phoenix of Walton, NY. Her brother, Douglas (Joanne) Furman of Walton, NY. Sister; Betty (Wayne) Brown of Aumsville, Oregon. Grandchildren; Dakota (Courtney) Terry of Grand Forks, North Dakota, Austin Terry of Binghamton, NY, Hope Phoenix of Woodruff, South Carolina, Great-grandchildren; Kiley, Ivy June, and Hudson of North Dakota. June is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her beloved dog, Skeeter-Bug.

June worked various jobs and was a Walton Central School bus driver before going to work at O'Connor Hospital as a clerk in the emergency room until retirement. After retiring, she donated her time at The Open Door in Delhi. She loved talking with people even if she didn't know them and had a great sense of humor. She loved thrift stores and going to garage sales. She was especially devoted to her family and friends.

June was predeceased by her sister Evelyn Fish.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
