Karen E. Gilmore, 75, formerly Karen Birdsall, passed away on May 15, 2025, in Walton, NY.
Karen was born on February 11, 1950 in Margaretville, NY, to David Birdsall and Irene (Barber) Birdsall.
Karen graduated from Walton Central High School in 1968.
She had a lengthy career as a Bus Driver, and enjoyed participating in Bus Rodeos.

Karen is survived by her daughters; Kimberly Seeley, Janine (Brian) Roode and Joanne Seeley, her sister Patricia (Roger) Howe, Brother-in-law Carl Gregory, her step children William (Bill) R. Gilmore Jr and wife Crystal of Easter Branch, Aaron Gilmore and wife Jessica of Walton and Carole Ann McGlone and husband Jason of East Branch along with many loved grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Also many nieces and nephews of whom she was very fond.

Karen is preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Gilmore, her parents David and Irene Birdsall, sisters Janet Gregory, Helen Edwards and her brother-in-law Ray Edwards.

The graveside service for Karen will be held at the East Branch cemetery on Wednesday July 16, 2025 at 11am with Pastor Paul Cicio officiating.
