Karen Rudick,71,of Downsville NY passed away unexpectedly Sunday, June 4th, 2017.

Karen was born June 11th, 1945 in Pepacton, NY the daughter of the late Floyd and Vera (Thompson ) Ellett. She married Andrew Rudick in Livingston Manor, NY He predeceased her in 1974.

Karen enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, socializing over a cup of coffee, and reading.

Karen is survived by her loving family, her son Christopher, his wife Diane of NJ, her granddaughter, Kristin Rudick of Bethlehem PA, sisters, Joyce Murphy, Frances Finkle,and several niece's nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her beloved daughter, Jaime Lynn Carter, brothers and sisters, William Ellett, Elizabeth Young, Eva Peck, Ruth Finkle, Leland "Bud" Ellett, Alvin "Smokey" Ellett, Elda Parks, and Russell "Buster" Ellett.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
