It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Karin H. Crowley who left us on March 17, 2026, at the age of 91. Born on Christmas Day, 1934 in Neuss, Germany, to Theodore and Regina Holl. During her childhood, she endured the pain of World War II. At school in Germany, she worked on her apprenticeship trade as a cake decorator/baker, and later worked in a bakery, where she met Karl-Heinz Werner Hansen, and they married in 1954. They immigrated to the United States in 1956, living in New York City five years, before making home in Walton, New York until 1975.
Karin remarried in 1980, to wonderful man Daniel A. Crowley, He helped her raise the children, they were married 20 years until his untimely death in a car accident in 2000.
Karin loved being a world traveler, accompanied by friends and family, she enjoyed using her times shares. Karin loved the Christmas season and decorated extensively and loved managing the Christmas booths in malls at various sites. She enjoyed having a ceramic shop for eight years. Karin became a CPA and loved her job at H& R Block for 35 years.
She worked many other jobs over the years to support her family, such as waitressing, auditing, Election Inspector, manufacturing General operator, seamstress, Halloween booth, to name a few. Karin lived a life filled with warmth, kindness, a spirit that touched everyone who knew her. Karin was always ready to lend a helping hand to friends and family; she never forgot anyone’s birthday. Kindness blossomed in the hearts of those around her, sharing her love and wisdom with friends and family alike. Karin donated to so many charities and organizations.
Karin is survived by her loving family, her children Marion Noble (Raymond) of Hancock, N.Y. where Karin resided the last 3 years, Gerald Hansen (Dianne) Athens, Tn, Glenn Hansen (Smithfield, Pa) Kelly M. Hansen-Hall (Steven) Lawton, Pa. A sister Brigitte Martini (Germany), a niece Nina Broenann (Yens)) and great niece Kimberly (Germany) and several cousins (Germany) 8 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and extended family.
Karin was predeceased by her parents, 2 brothers Harry & Manfred (Germany) her daughter Regina Lindborn, Yardley, Pa, her granddaughter, Danielle Linbourn, (NJ), and her husband Daniel Crowley.
Calling hours for will be held at the Courtney Funeral Home located at 25 Townsend Street Walton NY., on April 21, 2026, from 12-2, with prayer service at 2 pm with Father Golding officiating. Burial will follow at the Walton Cemetery located at 55Fancher Ave Walton, N.Y.
Karin H Crowley will be lovingly remembered and missed deeply by all who had the privilege to know her. Her legacy of love will continue to inspire us every day.
