Katherine L. D'Agostino 87 of Walton passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday morning, March 25, 2009.

Katherine was born in Walton on February 23, 1922 the daughter of the late George and Katherine Simmons. On June 12, 1938 she married Raphael J. Mullinnex. He died in 1979. She later married Albert D'Agostino. He died in 1984. She was a member of the Walton American Legion auxiliary.

Katherine is survived by 1 son, Dallas (Sandra) Mullinnex, Walton, 2 daughters, Mary Katherine (Ralph) Finnegan, North Carolina; Penny (Ted) Darling, Hancock; several grand, greatgrand, and great-great grandchildren; brothers, George (Fran) Shaw, Arizona; James Hitze, Poplar Bluff, MO; Barb (Art) Horton, Cooks Falls; Margie (Lenny) Rutherford, Sidney Center; several nieces, nephews and cousins and special friends, Floyd Stoutenberg and Shiela Olmstead both of Walton.

Friends and relatives are invited to call on Friday, March 27, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend St., Walton, where services will be held on Saturday at 1 PM. Burial will follow in Ouleout Cemetery, Franklin.
