Kathleen Cecelia Bauder, 67, of

Treadwell, passed away on Monday, June 23,

2014 at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown, following a

year long health issue and a related short illness.

Kathleen was born on December 29, 1946 in

the Bronx, the daughter of the late William Z.

Zachondiak and Edna (O'Brien) Zachondiak Murphy. She was

married to Ronald Bauder for 32 years.

Kathleen worked with Ron at Blend-Air Corporation in Monsey, New

York. She was a member of a Delhi chapter of the Red Hat Society, and a volunteer at the Treadwell United Methodist Church. For about

30 years, Kathleen was very active in the Norse Recreation Society of Duanesburg, NY aka Norseland , where she was the leader of House

Evergreen.

Kathleen is survived by her husband, Ronald Bauder, her son,

Richard L. Schmidt Jr., DC and Kathleen Schmidt, of

Walton; her sisters, Geraldine Zachondiak of

Meredith; and Maureen Doularis of Arizona.

A memorial service will be held on July 12,

2014 at the Treadwell Methodist Church, 68 Church Street,

Treadwell at 1PM. A gathering of friends will
