Kathleen P. Moore, 80, of Walton passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at Delaware Valley Hospital.

Kathy was born on October 26, 1941, in Brooklyn, NY the daughter of the late Harold and Ruth (Hoffman) Gay. On November 24, 1962, she married Donald Moore in Baldwin, Long Island. He passed away on May 10, 2019.

Kathy worked for CBS in Manhattan as a program analyst. After marrying Don in 1962 and having children, she became a stay-at-home mother and a homemaker. She was a faithful member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church. She loved art and music, and served as a Director of the Delaware County Fair Art Show for many years, as well as the Delhi Art Group.

Kathy is survived by her loving family, her children, Patrick (Judy) of Oxford, Kathleen of Ballston Lake and Timothy of Walton, grandsons Ryan and Matthew (Allie), brother in-law Philip DiMaria and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Donald of 57 years, her brothers and sisters -in law Peter and Frances Moore, Beatrice and Joseph Heimbuecher and Beatrice DiMaria.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 7, 2022, at 11 A.M. at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 25 Benton Avenue, Walton with the Rev. Edward J. Golding officiating. Lunch will follow at the Rainbow Lodge in Walton at 12 P.M. Burial will be held at the Gerald B. H. Solomon National Cemetery, Saratoga, NY at a later date.
