Kathleen O'Brien, 61, of Walton passed away on Friday, April 4, 2014 at home, surrounded by her family.

Kathleen was born on March 30, 1953 in Staten Island, the daughter of the late John and Irene (Kelly) Fogarty. On March 3, 1973 she married Robert J. O'Brien in Staten Island. Following 23 years working at Pathmark, Kathleen and Bob moved from New Jersey to Walton.

Kathleen is survived by her loving family, her husband, Robert, her daughter, Tara and Scott Berger of Wayne, NJ; her son, Robert and Penny O' Brien of Walton; her grandchildren, Alexa, Matthew, Brook, Allie, her brothers, Robert Fogarty of Franklin; Kevin and Michelle Fogarty of AZ; her sister, Eileen and Ian Bradbrook of Princeton Junction, NJ; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, her sister, Patricia Fogarty, and her granddaughter, Keighly on May 8, 2009.

Services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are with Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend St., Walton, NY 13856.
