Katy D. Doughty, 45, of Walton, formerly of Lewiston, Maine; passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 13, 2018 in Oneonta, following an accident on Route 23.

Katy was born on November 30, 1972 in Lewiston, ME. the daughter of the late James and Diane (Almotte) Harkins. She was a graduate of Edward Little High School in Auburn, ME. Katy was married to Stephen Doughty. He died on July 16, 2004.

Katy worked as a sales representative for Strainright and prior to that was a line operator for Boston Brands in Lewistown, ME. She enjoyed going to music concerts and listening to heavy metal bands.

Katy is survived by her life partner, Marissa Ritchey of Walton, sister, Angela and Chad Richards of ME; her nieces and nephews, Kerry Shepherd, Nichole Richards, and Jacob Richards.

Services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Courtney Funeral Home, Walton, NY.
