Kenneth "Pappy" Vaughan 70 of Walton, passed away Friday morning, November 1, 2013, at Wilson Memorial Hospital, following a long illness.

Pappy was born on March 30, 1943, in Ontario, Canada, the son of the late John and Jean (Davis) Vaughan. He was employed for many years as a "Trucker". On September 20, 1990 he married the former Janet Rundell. She died on May 17, 2006. He was a former member of the Franklin and Walton Fire Depts., as fire police.

Pappy will be remembered as a jovial fellow who enjoyed playing Santa for everyone in the Christmas Season.

Friends and family are invited to call from 11 AM to 1 PM on Thursday, November 7, 2013, at the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend Street, Walton, where services will be held at 1 PM, with the Rev. Dr. Lisa Ruth Mays, officiating.
