Kenneth W. White, 92, of Caroga Lake passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at

home following a long illness.

Ken was born on December 17, 1930 in Gloversville, NY, the son of the late Gordon

and Frances (Lorenz) White. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army (1953-55).

On July 7, 1956 he married the former Joan Beardsley in Plattsburgh.

Ken was an Industrial Arts and Drivers Ed teacher in the Greater Johnstown School

District from 1955 to 1987. He was a member of VFW in Gloversville, Concordia Club,

and Pine Tree Rifle Club. Ken was a handy guy to have around who enjoyed tinkering,

fixing things and was a talented woodworker. He was a ham radio operator and enjoyed

boating and sailing on his beloved Caroga Lake.

Ken is survived by his loving family, his wife, Joan; children, David (Tamie) White of

Gloversville; Randal (Pamela) White of Florida; grandchildren, Cristin, Stephanie,

Daniel, Jamie, Jessica, great grandchildren, Aiden, Samuel, and one on the way. Sister,

Doris (Terry) Nicholson of Clark Mills; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He

was predeceased by his niece, Nancy Bogan.

Services with burial at Ferndale Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.
