Kirk M. Darville, 79, of Walton passed away Saturday, October 29, 2016 peacefully at home.

Kirk was born on February 27, 1937 in Nassau, Bahamas, the son of the late Willard and Kathleen Darville. He married Tiny M. Lowe on May 3, 2013 at Loon Lake, Washington. He was a graduate of Southeastern Bible College, Lakeland FL. He worked as a teacher of elementary, and middle schools at Walton Central School for over 30 years. Kirk was also the pastor at the Assembly of God (AG) Church in Walton for many years. He was the past Chairman, vice-president and treasurer of the Walton Ministrium Assn., past president of the Delaware County Christian Ministry; leader of the AG Royal Rangers and a regular contributor of WDLA's Devotions.

Kirk enjoyed camping, hiking, canoeing and climbing mountains in the Catskills and Adirondacks.

He is survived by his wife: Tiny M. (Lowe) Darville , children, Cynthia (Mark) Tatum of Colorado Springs, CO; Tim Darville, Norwich; Valarie (Scott) Morris of Woodbridge, VA, Nate Darville (Rheagan Alexander) of Birmingham, AL and Keegan Darville of Binghamton, Eric (Kimberly) Zeissler, Spokane, WA; Tammy (J.R.) Reams, Spokane, WA; grandchildren, Trevor, Tucker, Connor, Tristan, Gavan, Wren, Eric, LeahBeth, Sharayah (Daniel), Bryanna, Kuria and James Dee; great-grandchildren, Isaiah, Madison, Noah, Daniel and Jace; a sister, Hazel (Jay) Johnson, MD; daughter in law, Molly, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Kirk was predeceased by his first wife Marjorie Anne, a son Christopher and a brother Mac.

A celebration of Kirks life will be held on Thursday evening, November 3, 2016 at 6 PM at the Assembly of God Church, just north of Walton on County Highway 21, where family and friends can remember Kirk with a cup of coffee and a bite of apple pie, remembering all the good things Kirk has accomplished in his life.
