Ladean S. Pettit, 82, of Walton passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at home in Walton.

Ladean was born December 29, 1933 in Norwich, NY the daughter of the late Samuel and Elsie (Sluiter) Bush. On January 21, 1950 she married Lauren Pettit.

Ladean enjoyed knitting, embroidering pillow cases, crossword puzzles, word searches, and reading a good book.

Ladean is survived by her loving family, husband, Lauren Pettit, children, Glenda (Tom) Newell of TN; Doreen Neidig of Northfield; Lauren (Cathy) Pettit of Northfield; Gary (Debra) Pettit of Walton; Stacie (Tom) Gilbert of Walton; Allan Pettit of Walton; Barbara Pettit of AZ; grandchildren, Dawn, Trina, Tommy, Laurie, Randy, Travis, Christy, Ashley, Jeremy, Sonia, Gary, Jr., April, Hope, Nicki, Jessica, Sylvia, Canyon, Liam, Jade, Jewell, 32 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren, sister, Joanie Palmer of Norwich; close friend, Rosemary Travis of Walton; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by daughter, Vickie Pettit, grandson, Corey Neidig, son in law, Lynn Neidig, brothers, Sam Bush and Robert Bush, sisters, Leita, Lista, and Betty.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 13, 2016 at 1PM at 158 Beebe Road, Walton.
