Obituary

Larry W. Seward, 62, a lifelong resident of Walton, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, August 31, 2013 at home.

Larry was born on March 23, 1951, in Walton the son of the late Frederick R. and Orna (Leigh) Seward Sr. He was employed for many years as a painter at Northeast Fabricators, Walton.

Larry enjoyed watching comedy's and westerns on TV and having a cup of coffee with friends at the Country Store.

Larry is survived by his daughter, Jody and Peter Degraw, Trout Creek; the apple of his eye, his granddaughter, Sadie, his brother, Roger and Linda Seward, Wells Bridge; sisters, Valerie and Mark Miller, Treadwell; and Robin Cole, Sidney and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother and sisters, Frederick Jr., Vivian Bennett, Yvonne Hammond and Rosie Seward.

Friends and relatives are invited to call on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend St., Walton, where services will be held at 1 PM with the Rev. Larry Light, officiating. Burial will follow in Walton Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in Larry's memory may be made to the American Heart Association, Box 3049, Syracuse, 13220-3049.
