Leah M. Bard, 80, of Walton passed away with her loving family by her side, on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Delhi Rehabilitation and Nursing Home of Delhi, NY.

Leah was born February 25, 1938 in Sidney, NY the daughter of the late David and Marian (Sowles) Bard. She graduated from Walton High School class of 1957.

Leah was a Head Cook for Delaware Valley Hospital for 38 1/2 years before retiring. She was a member of the Northfield Community Church in Walton.

Leah enjoyed going on Eastern Travel trips, doing jigsaw puzzles, and playing cards.

Leah is survived by her sisters, Shirley (Rowland) Cole of Bainbridge, Beverly (James) Rexford of Moorcroft, WY; Carolyn Dunn of Springfield, OH; brother, Gordon (Linda) Bard of Havelock, NC; nieces, and nephews, Laurie (Dominic) Gullow, Jackie (Randy) Tweedie, Christine Mabie, great nephews, Austin, Erik, Alex, and several cousins.

Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend Street, Walton from 11 AM to 12 Noon where services will be held at 12 Noon, with Pastor Matthew Thornton, Officiating. Burial will follow in Walton Cemetery.
