Lilia Garin, 85, of Walton passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Roscoe Community Nursing Home in Roscoe.

Lilia was born May 6, 1930 in Philippines, the daughter of the late Braulio and Dorotea (Evangelista) Lubuguin. On May 4, 1952 she married Hilario Garin. He predeceased her on January 29, 2013. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Walton.

Lilia was a devoted mother and grandmother.

Lilia is survived by her loving family, her children, Eduardo, Jocelyn (Richard) Howard and Hilario (Riza) Garin, all of Walton and her grandchildren, Gladys (Leroy) Rind, Edwardson, Maria Gelaica and Christian,

Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, January 31, 2016 from 2 to 4 PM at Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend Street, Walton.

A Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 1, 2016 at 12 PM with Rev. Edward J. Golding, officiating. Burial will be held privately.
