It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Linda Lee Beers (Simpson), aged 80, who departed this world on April 24, 2025 at home surrounded by her family, just days shy of her 81st birthday. Born on May 1, 1944, in Walton, New York, Linda dedicated her life to her family and her home, embracing the role of a devoted homemaker with grace and love.
Linda had a profound appreciation for the beauty of the outdoors, often finding joy in the simple pleasures of nature. She cherished her community and thrived on conversations with those around her, sharing stories and laughter that left an indelible mark on the hearts of many.
Linda is survived by her beloved children; Billie Jo Simpson, Cassandra Beers (Sandy), Everett Beers (Robin), Leon Beers (Tancie), and Micheal Beers. Her sister Sherri Dean, and brother in-law Everett Dean, her grandchildren; Jason Simpson (Amy), Brandi Ford, Fred Ford III (Joelle), George Klinger, Cheyenne Beers, Jeremy Beers, Sarah Beers, and Jakob Beers. Her great grandchildren; Serena, Alexis, Arianna, Sage, and Mackenzie.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband Earl Beers, Sr, her father and mother Leon and Rebecca (Becky) Simpson, her son Earl L. Beers Jr, (Jake), and sister Sally Ducan.
Calling hours will be held on April 30, 2025 from 11am to 1pm, with a service at 1pm with Pastor Don Crossman officiating.
The family invites friends and loved ones to join where they will reflect on the cherished moments and fond memories shared with Linda.
Though she may no longer walk among us, the love and light Linda brought into the lives of those she touched will forever remain in our hearts. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
