Linda R. Hall, 58, of Walton passed away Friday, July 9, 2010 at Bassett Healthcare of Cooperstown, following a long illness.

Linda was born June 13, 1952 in Yonkers, the daughter of the late Robert and Agnes (Matz) Combs. She married Ronald Hall in 1989. She attended Utica School of Commerce. She was employed for many years at Borden's, Bainbridge. She was a member of Plymouth Community Church.

Linda enjoyed reading and as a dialysis patient she spent many hours reading. She loved animals especially dogs, and had a new dog, Bailey, for just a few weeks, who she adored. She also enjoyed the birds, deer, turkeys, squirrels and the occasional bear that came to her feeders.

She is survived by her husband, Ron, her daughter, Melanie Gorsch of Rochester; a step-son, Will Hall, Walton; a sister, Karin Combs, Buckhannon, WV; sister-in-law, Shirley Bowker, Walton; and several cousins. She was predeceased by a brother, Robert F. Combs.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 13, 2010, at the Plymouth Community Church, with the Rev. Tom Davis officiating. Arrangements are with Courtney Funeral Home, Walton.
