Linda L. Mills, 64, of Trout Creek, passed away unexpectedly Friday, February 4, 2011, at Delaware Valley Hospital in Walton, NY.

Linda was on born December 19, 1946 in Walton, the daughter of the late Joseph L. and Ruth E. (Bowdish) Gardepe. She married Wellington " Ed " Mills on January 27, 1963 in Deposit. Linda was employed by Mar-J's, North Sanford as a Cook. She was a former member of the Trout Creek Ladies Auxiliary and the Trout Creek Fire Police.

Linda is survived by her husband, Ed Mills , her children, Michael (Deb) Mills, Sidney Center; Vicky (Rich) Seaman, Trout Creek; Kevin (Becky) Mills, Walton; Marjorie Mills, Livingston Manor; Kelly (Jamie) Mullineaux, Guilford; Tonya (Ken) Lent, Unadilla; her sisters, Barbie McLean, Carol Seward, her brothers: James (Pat) Gardepe, Wayne Gardepe; her mother in law, Marjorie Mills, Trout Creek; her grandchildren, Jessie, Heather, Brandy, Pamela, Kyle, Devin, Christopher, Ashley, Eric, Nicole, Dustin, Alicia, Brent, Morgan, Mindy, Cody, Tricia, Amy, Erin, her sister in laws, Sandra Gardepe; Fannie Vermilyea; and her special friends, Wayne & Nancy Charles.She was predeceased by her daughter, Laurie Sue, her great grandson, Ryder Seaman, her brothers, Raymond & Richard Gardepe, and a sister, Evelyn Meddleton.

Friends and family are invited to call on Monday, February 7, 2011 from 2 to 4 PM & 6 to 8 PM at the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend Street, Walton, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday morning at 11 AM with the Rev. David Gatje officiating. Burial will be in Walton Cemetery, in the spring.
