Lisa Benedetto, 32, of Sidney Center, NY, passed away on Monday, October 21, 2013 at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown, NY. Lisa was born October 24, 1980 in Long Island, NY the daughter of Mark and Rose Benedetto.

Lisa loved listening to Country Music, going to the Delaware County Fair where she loved the food, and enjoyed the holidays. She was a simple down to earth person and everyone that met her loved her.

Lisa is survived by her loving family, her parents, Mark and Rose, her grandparents, Irene Benedetto, Margaret Ennis, her Uncle Jeff Benedetto, her Aunt Livia and Uncle Russell Bassett, Aunt Karen and Uncle John Fitzgerald, Aunt Patricia and Uncle Jimmy Warmuth, her cousins, Lindsey, Jesse, Audrey, Chelsea, Ava, Elizabeth, her special friends, Izzy and Cassey Caratelli, Susan and Mike Spacoforno. A special thanks to the nurses of the Dialysis Unit at O. S. She was predeceased by her grandpa, Louis Benedetto, her Uncle Stephan Benedetto, and Aunt Linda Ennis.

Friends may call on Thursday, October 24, 2013 from 2to4PM and 6to8PM at the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend Street, Walton. A Prayer Service will be held at 7:30 PM at the funeral Home.

A Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 25, 2013 at 11AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 16 Benton Avenue, Walton with Father Edward J. Golding, Celebrant. Burial will follow in the Walton Cemetery, 55 Fancher Avenue, Walton.
