Lodema Marie Matthews McAdams, 91 of Walton, passed away June 30, 2023.

"Dema" was born on February 17, 1932, the daughter of the late Cora Rodgers and Donald C. Matthews at Shavertown NY. She spent most of her childhood living in Andes, NY. She lived in Walton most of her adult years, where she met and later married Ronald E. McAdams. Dema worked as a bookkeeper for several area telephone companies.

Dema is survived by two brothers, Robert and Gary Matthews, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, Cora and Donald Matthews, her husband, Ronald McAdams, four sisters, Barbara Condon, Patricia Sherwood, Doris Desilva and Gail Dibble.

A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Monday, July 10, 2023 at Walton Cemetery. Arrangements are with Courtney Funeral Home, Walton.
