Loretta P. Davis,75, a life time resident of Walton, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2015 at Bridgewater Rehabilitation Center in Binghamton, NY.

Loretta was born on November 4, 1940 in Hamden, the daughter of the late Horton A. and Florence (Tiffany) Tweedie. On July 5, 1969 she married John S. Davis, Jr. at the Plymouth Church in Walton. He predeceased her on March 8, 2013.

Loretta was a member of the New Hope Community Church in Walton. She enjoyed going to Our Place on Wednesdays, "Soup It Up Night at New Hope, watching western movies, listening to country music, doing crafts and playing with her dogs Midnight and Killian.

Loretta is survived by her loving family, her daughter, Jennifer Davis (Pete Mason), her grandchildren, Alexandria, Darren, Adam, Shawn, Shayne, Catilyn, Shelby, William, Faith, Raven, her sisters, Arvella Goodrich, Thelma and Jerry Brown all of Walton; her special friends, Ginny Sherman, Diane Fletcher, Tonia Closs, Eric Travis, Bonnie, and PJ Mason all of Walton; her brother in law, Randy Gransbury of VA; Ronald Gransbury of Hancock; her sister in law, Estella White of Delhi; her dogs, Midnight, and Killian, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her son, John S. Davis III, her brother, Stub Tweedie, her sisters, Marjorie Church, and Phyliss Neale.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, November 13, 2015 from 1 to 3 PM at the New Hope Community Church, 45 Stockton Avenue, Walton, New York where services will be held at 3 PM with Rev. Larry Light, officiating. Burial will be held at a later date in the Riverview Cemetery in Hancock, NY.
