Louis S. Paranesi, 66, a life long resident of Walton passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, July 17, 2007 in Delaware Valley Hospital, Walton.

Louis was born in Walton, on May 23, 1941 the son of Mary (Sanford) Paranesi and

the late Louis Paranesi. He was widowed by his wife Eileen in 1988. He worked as a Custodian, at Wal-Mart, in Oneonta. He loved playing solitaire on his computer with his mother cheering him on.

Louis is survived by his loving mother, Mary, his sister Louise (Frankie) Powell of Harvey, North Dakota, his nieces, Tammy Brother and Laurie Slectha, nephew: Thomas Powell, companion & special friends: Diane Smith, Robert and Kimberly Meyers, Christhina Smith, and Amber Wilson, aunts: Joyce Hall of Sidney, NY, Bessie Samuels of Florida and, Agnes Taylor of New Hampshire, uncle Lloyd Sanford of Florida and good friend, Harry Knauer.

Friends and relatives are welcome to join us for Calling Hours on Friday July 20th, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Clark, Winter & Courtney Funeral Home 25 Townsend St., Walton where funeral services will be held on Saturday July 21st at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Stephen Blews, officiating,

Interment will follow in Sidney Center Highland Cemetery.
