Lynn B. Neidig, 68 of Walton passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday evening, January 19, 2016 at Wilson Memorial Hospital in Johnson City, NY.

Lynn was born on September 15, 1947 in Walton, he is the son of the late Lynn and Helen Neidig. He graduated from Walton Central School in 1965 and he later married Doreen Pettit on August 9, 1969 in Walton, NY.

Lynn worked for Del-Met for many years and then became an employee for Parts Plus where he later retired. He enjoyed watching and playing sports. Softball, football and NASCAR were among his favorites, and he loved spending time at the dirt track.

Lynn is survived by his loving family, his wife, Doreen, children, Laurie (Nathan Picinich) Neidig of Walton, NY; Randy (Patience) Neidig of Oxford, Travis (Angela) Neidig of Ft. Stewart, GA; Christy (Ross) Harris of Otego, NY; Ashley Neidig of Walton, NY; grandchildren, Steven, Devin, Morgan, Jathan, Braelyn, Sklyer, Landon, his special cat "Clooney", as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Lynn was predeceased by his parents Lynn and Helen Neidig, his son Corey Lynn Neidig and his sisters Rosyln Watson, Charlotte Conklin and Faye Hobbie.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Sunday evening, January 24, 2016 from 6 to 8PM at the Courtney Funeral Home, Walton where services will be held on Monday morning, January 25, 2016 at 11 AM.
