Lynn M. Parkinson, 68 , of Walton passed away on May 8th, 2024 at UHS Wilson Medical Center, Johnson City, NY.
Lynn was born on October 12th, 1955 the daughter of the late Joseph Benincasa and Florence Pellettere in Nyack, NY. She married Leonard Parkinson on August 18, 1985 in Malone, NY.
Lynn loved interacting with and serving people as she worked many years as a waitress and later went on to help with in-home care. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, baking and, although reluctant at first, cruising. Her favorite pastime was really anything that included friends and family. Lynn cherished the time spent and memories made with her children and grandchildren. She made sure to boast about her grandchildren anytime she could.
Lynn is survived by her loving family, her children, Elaine (Scott) Perri of Washingtonville, NY; Jimmy Otte of Deltona, FL; Richard Otte of Walton, NY; April (Chaz) Epps of Walton, NY; Lenny Nash of Valley Cottage, NY; Candice (Andrew) Curtin of Bloomingburg, NY; Jeremy (Natasha Breen) Parkinson of Oneonta, NY; grandchildren, Tyler, Derek, Bella, Jake, Jamie, Jessica, Rachael, Savanah, Evan, Amber, Keygan, Kanaan, Leonard, Elliana, Rosalena, Delilah; bonus grandchildren, Devin, Nikolas, Briana; bonus great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Oakley, Delilah; siblings, Hope (Tim) Jencks, Taftville, CT, Victoria (Ronald) Mann, Montgomery, NY, Francis Covati, FL; daughter in law, Dawn Otte of Stamford, NY; sister in law, Laurie Benincasa of Monroe, NY; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Lynn was predeceased by her husband, Leonard Parkinson; her son, Anthony Otte; and her brother, Frank Benincasa.
Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, May 13th, 2024 from 3pm to 5pm at the Courtney Funeral Home, Walton. Services will be held at 5:30pm at the Riverside Alliance Church.
