Mabel J Truesdell, 99 a life long resident of Andes, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2008 in the Countryside Care Center, Delhi.

Mabel was born in Andes on December 26, 1908 the daughter of the late Velie and Sarah (Worden) McQueen. She was a graduate of Andes Central School. On October 14, 1932 she married William M. Truesdell. He died in 1996. Mabel was a faithful member of the Andes Methodist Church, the Senior Citizens of Andes, and the Home Bureau.

Mabel is survived by a daughter, Marian (Charles) Calhoun, DeLancey, 2 sons, Herbert Truesdell, Gladstone Hollow, and Lauren Truesdell, Andes, 6 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, James Truesdell, and grandson, Donald Calhoun in 1990.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Sunday, April 6, 2008 at the Clark, Winter & Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend St., Walton. Interment will be in Andes Cemetery, .
