Marcia A. Lake 77 of Walton passed away on Thursday afternoon, April 19, 2018 at Delhi Rehabilitation and Nursing Center following a short illness.

Marcia was born on April 13, 1941. She was raised in Hancock NY by her parents Marco and Esther Lanzoni. Marcia was married to the love of her life Donald H Lake. He predeceased her on October 16, 2014.

After raising her children she attended Sullivan County Community College graduating with a 4.0 average, becoming a Certified Alcoholism & Substance Abuse Counselor. She worked in the field for many years. Marcia was an avid reader and animal lover. Marcia loved dancing with her husband and enjoyed her flower gardens, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.

Besides her loving husband Donald, she was predeceased by a daughter, Deborah Ann Jacobs and a sister, Katherine Lanzoni.

Marcia is survived by her son Mark (Crystal) Jacobs, daughter, Robin (Mark) Alger, step daughter Kathryn Lake, and step son Ralph (Joan) Lake, grandchildren, Marc, Monica, Max, Erin, Lisa, Amber, Noelle, Carissa, Brooke and Joseph; great grandchildren, her brothers Anthony, Matthew, Michael, John Lanzoni, sister April Lanzoni and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
