Marcus "Marc" O. Green 62, of Walton passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at Delaware Valley Hospital in Walton, surrounded by his family, following a long struggle.

Marc was born on December 3, 1949 in Walton, the son of Claude and Marjorie (McClenon) Green. He was a graduate of Walton High School. On November 27, 1987, he married the former Cheryl Klinegardner in Walton.

Marc proudly served his country in the U. S. Army, in Viet Nam, from 1969 to 1971. He was employed for many years at Del-Met Corp. in Walton. In his spare time he enjoyed bowling, golfing, and traveling anywhere and everywhere with Cheryl and his his grandchildren. He was a real family man who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Marc is survived by his loving family: his wife, Cheryl, his mother, Marjorie Green of Walton; his son, Millard A. (Karen) Gladstone of Walton; his grandchildren, Tianna, Gavin, his brothers, John (Laura) Green of Walton; Jamie (Carla) Green of Walton; his sisters, Claudia Smith, Carole Eckert, Alana Benson, Shirley (Kevin) Brown, all of Walton; Sandy (William) Paul of Buffalo; his brother and sister in laws, Lou and Eileen Klinegardner of Walton; Joel (Doug) Klinegardner of Binghamton; Dawn and Jack Whiteside, Sr. of Walton; Terri (Michael) Wright, Sr. of Walton; Walter (Lisa) Kinch III of Walton; his brother in laws, his special friends, Linda Moore and Kellie Zimmerman, both of Walton, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Marc was predeceased by his father Claude Green, his In laws, Walter and Carol Kinch, Jr., Millard Klinegardner, his sister, Dixie Green and his brother in laws, James Klinegardner, Sr., Danny Smith, Leonard Eckert, and Walter Benson.

Friends and family are invited to call on Monday, December 26, 2011 at the Riverside Alliance Church, 110 Stockton Avenue, Walton, from 10 AM to 1 PM where services will be held at 1 PM with the Rev. Jacob Bouw officiating. Burial will follow in Walton Cemetery with full military honors.
