Obituary

Marguerite S. "Peg" Mosher, 76, a long time resident of Walton passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Bassett Healthcare, Cooperstown, surrounded by her family.

Peg was born on April 5, 1935 in Hamden, the daughter of the late Ralph and Christina (Eckert) Seaman. She was employed for many years as a cook at Aiello's, the Annex and lastly at Danny's Restaurant. She also worked at Bendix Aviation and Continental Telephone.

Peg was also a stay at home mom who babysit for many kids in the area. Peg also enjoyed being a Cub Scout Pack Leader for many years. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking and crocheting.

She is survived by two daughters: Lorrie Kimball, Poughkeepsie Peggie Mosher, Virginia; and two sons: Tracy (Ronda) Williams, Walton, Lonnie Lewis, Alabama; several grand and great-grandchildren , two sisters: Lucille Bowker, Walton; Janis (Richard) Ewain, Sidney Center; She was predeceased by three brothers, Russell, Richard and Harold Seaman.

Friends and relatives are invited to call from 11 to 1 PM on Saturday, April 23, 2011 a the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend St., Walton where services willl be held at 1 PM with the Rev. Jay O'Connor, officiating. Burial will follow in Walton Cemetery.
