Marion A. Klinegardner, 89, of Walton, passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at Robinson Terrace in Stamford, following a long illness.

Marion was born on March 11, 1927 in Saginaw, Michigan. the daughter of the late Charles and Ida (Kowitz) Hodges. On October 7, 1978 she married Millard "Mel" Klinegardner in Florida. Mel and Marion owned and operated M&M Taxi in Lehigh Acres Florida. Mel died on August 22, 2004.

Marion is survived by her children, Dan and Peggy LaBelle, of North Fort Meyers, FL; Lou and Eileen Klinegardner of Walton; Joel Klinegardner of Johnson City; Cheryl Green of Walton; Dawn and Jack Whiteside of Walton; Melissa Collins of Afton, several grandchildren and great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Marion was predeceased by her daughter, Donna Becker, and sons, Gary LaBelle and James Klinegardner Jr.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are with Courtney Funeral Home, Walton.
