Martha L. Moyse 75 of Delhi, passed away on Saturday July 3, 2010, at O'Connor Hospital, surrounded by her family, following a long illness.

Martha was born on July 23, 1934 in Jamaica, Queens, NY; the daughter of the late George and Catherine (Flohr) Kern. She was employed by Lawrence Medical Supply, Cedarhurst; as Office Manager. Martha moved to Delaware County from Baldwin about 3 1/2 years ago. She was a member of the Rosary Society, Inwood, a girl scout leader and a member of the CCD, religious education. She was a communicant of both St Peter's and St John's.

Martha enjoyed baking, crocheting and working and playing games on her computer.

She is survived by two daughters: Maryanne (Joe) Tropia of Freehold, NJ, Kathleen (Richard) Maffei of Walton, NY and one son: Lawrence (Janet) Moyse of Fountain Hills, AZ; two sisters, Mary Condenzio of Cape Coral, FL, and Eleanor (Bill) Smith, Shirley, LI; ; Brother In Law, Jack Moyse of Bainbridge, grandchildren, Lawrence, Jonathan, Patrick, Joey, Steven, Jennifer, Rick, Thomas, Michael, Jessica, and Robert, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a son, Robert in 2006 and a brother, George Kern and a sister, Joan Bennetter.

Friends and relatives are invited to call on Friday, July 9, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend St. Walton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday morning at 11 AM at St. John the Baptist Church, Benton Ave., Walton.
