Mary Lou Decker, 79, of Walton passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Mountainside Residential Care Center in Margaretville, NY.

Mary Lou was born March 8, 1939 in Walton, NY the daughter of the late Albert and Ruth (DuMond) Decker.

Mary Lou was a home healthcare aide who took wonderful care of many people over the years. She also operated Mary Lou's Farm Stand for many years. She enjoyed baking and growing vegetables in her garden. Mary Lou's specialty was baking pies.

Mary Lou is survived by her cousins, Fred DuMond of Delhi and Cathy DuMond Wagner of Oregon; special friends, Anna Nochta and Terri Green, both of Walton, her furry companion, Rascal, and many other people she befriended over the years. She was predeceased by her sister, Virginia C. Decker on April 26, 2014.

A memorial service will be held at Plymouth Church, Walton on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at 10:00am with a graveside service immediately following at Ouleout Cemetery in Franklin.
