Mary O'Neill, 85, of Walton passed away Monday, May 23, 2011 at Binghamton General Hospital in Binghamton, NY.

Mary was born June 12, 1925 in Walton, New York the daughter of the late Charles and Margaret Guild O'Neill.

Mary was self employed as a hairdresser in Walton.She was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church and the American Legion Auxilary in Walton.

She enjoyed playing cards, visiting with her friends, watching football, and watching her favorite baseball team, the New York Yankees.

Mary is survived by her loving companion, Bill Watson, her cousins, Bobby and Karen Bennett, and her niece, Cheryl Bennett. She was predeceased by her Aunt Katie Guild.

Friends and family are invited to call Wednesday, May 25, from 6 to 8 PM at the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend Street, Walton. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 26, at 1:30 PM at Saint John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 17-25 Benton Avenue, Walton, with the Rev. Edward Golding officiating. Burial will follow in the Walton Cemetery, 55 Fancher Avenue, Walton.
