Maryann Jacob, 73 died Saturday July 6, 2024, at Delhi Rehabilitation and Nursing Home, Delhi, NY.
Maryann was born October 10, 1950, in South Nassau, NY to Sigmond Charles Morosky and Katherine Pubins Morosky.
Maryann worked at various places over the years, she worked at Red Lion, DVH Medical Office, the Funeral Home, and at Townsend Walton Central School as a playground aide. Maryann was also a member of the Trout Creek and Walton fire departments and was a part of the ladies Auxiliary.
Maryann married the love of her life, James R. Jacob Sr., on September 18, 1971. She enjoyed doing Soduko, word searches, and she was known to write everything down on family road trips. She loved going to her son and grandsons' games and yelling "rebound."
Maryann is survived by her loving husband James of 52 years, her son James R. Jacob Jr., her daughter-in-law Kimberly, and her grandson Dylan Jacob (Jesse) all of Walton, NY. She is also survived by two nieces, and many, many friends.
Maryann is predeceased by her parents, Sigmond Charles Morosky and Katherine Pubins Morosky, her brother in-law Julius Carl Jacob III, nephew Julius Carl Jacob IV, her mother in-law Helen Sammis Jacob, her father in-law Julius Carl Jacob Jr.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday July 10, 2024, at the Walton Fire Hall, 4pm-6pm, service at 6pm with Pastor Larry Light Officiating. The family would like to invite everyone to stay for the reception after the service and share happy memories of Maryann.
