Mason W. Closs, beloved son of Art and Patty Closs of Walton, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday morning, June 5, 2012 at Delaware Valley Hospital, Walton. Mason was born on May 13, 2012 at A. O. Fox Hospital, Oneonta.

Mason is survived by his loving family, his mom and dad, Patricia and Arthur Closs, his grandparents; Norman and Peg Closs of Cooks Falls; Steve and Connie Yarman of Hastings, NY.; his great-grandmother, Harriet Mosher of Lake Huntington, NY.; brothers Howard Campbell and Joshua Closs; sisters Cheyanne and Brittany Closs, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Mason was predeceased by his grandparents; Seth and Anne Campbell, great-grandparents; LeRoy Mosher, Charlotte Conklin, and Albert M. Closs.

A funeral service will be held at 1 PM on Friday afternoon, June 8, 2012 at the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend St., Walton, NY Burial will follow at the Walton Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
