Maurice A. Henry, 91, of Delhi, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at O'Connor Hospital in Delhi, NY.

Maurice was born in 1932 in Shippensburg, PA, the son of the late Mervin L. and Vitalis (Hoover) Henry. He was married to Donna J. Williams who predeceased him. In 2004, he married Arlene Lurenz in Phillipsburg, PA who predeceased him in 2013.

Maurice was a Research Assistant in the Chemistry Department at Penn State for 32 years. He enjoyed playing pinochle, bridge, painting with oil, and spending time on the computer. Maurice was very talented and enjoyed making furniture in his wood-working shop. He was an avid tea drinker and enjoyed having a warm cup of English breakfast within reach at all times. He also loved to bake. Home-made white bread and scones were his specialty.

Maurice is survived by his loving family, stepchildren, Suzanne MacDonald, Christian, Vivian, Linda (Joe), Melvin (Jane) McMonigal, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and 2 special grandsons, Cameron Mason, and Michael McMonigal.

Friends and family are invited to call on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 from 12pm to 1pm at Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend Street, Walton where services will be held at 1pm with Rev. Bert More officiating.
