Michael B. Luscomb, 50, of Downsville passed away unexpectedly early Wednesday morning, April 30, 2014 at Delaware Valley Hospital in Walton.

Mike was born on June 21, 1963 in Walton; the son of Roger and Joan (Barnes) Luscomb. He graduated from Downsville Central School, class of 1981.

Mike was a self employed quarryman in Downsville for many years. He was a member of the O & Y Hunting Club in Shinhopple and a Shinhopple Memorial Center Trustee. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, trapping, and gardening. He also loved spending time with his family and friends.

Mike is survived by his loving family, his mother, Joan of Downsville; his love and partner in life, Patricia Pritchard of Downsville; his children, Terina Touw and Mike Schroeder of Long Eddy; Erica Touw of Downsville; Georgia and Sean Odell of Downsville; and Rose Luscomb of Downsville; his grandchildren, Michael, Mary, Mackenzie, and Elizabeth; his brothers, Steve and Dulcie Luscomb of Downsville; Russell and Mary Ann Luscomb of Downsville; his sisters, Janet Williams of Walton; Lorna Luscomb of Walton; and Andrea Luscomb and Phil Leone of Downsville and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, including the Mantzouratos family of Roscoe. He was predeceased by his father, Roger Luscomb on March 5, 2011.

Friends and family are invited to call on Saturday, May 3, 2014 from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend Street, Walton where services will be held at 1 PM with Mike's good friend, Pastor Yancey Brown, officiating.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been set up for his daughter, Rose at the Community Bank, 15229 State Highway 30, Downsville, New York 13755.
