Michael A. Spensieri, 72, of Downsville passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2015 at home.

Michael was born February 20, 1943 in Staten Island, NY the son of the late Michael and Concetta (Venditti) Spensieri. On April 11, 1964 he married the former Sandra L. Main. She predeceased him on October 22, 2012.

Michael worked for NYC Sanitation, and Laborer Union Local #3. He was a member of AARP and NRA. He loved his property and his apple trees, watching the Yankees baseball, and loved all kinds of food. He was a man, who loved his wife, his children and grandchildren. He will be remembered as a kind and helpful man, who was devoted to his family.

Michael is survived by his loving family, his son, Michael (Robin) Spensieri, grandchildren, Michael, Christina, Cheyanne, Megan, great grandson, Dalton, brother, John Spensieri, sister and brother in law, Mary and Elmer Bellach, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his sister, Antonette Filima.

A graveside service will be held on December 22, 2015 at 1PM at Paige Cemetery in Downsville with Rev. R. L. Donahue, officiating. Arrangements are with Courtney Funeral Home, Walton.
