Michael A. Vogel, 75 of Walton, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2026. Born in Brooklyn on August 3, 1950, Mike was the son of Anthony and Helen Vogel. He attended John Adams High School in Queens where he majored in business studies and received two Marine Fitness Awards.

Mike spent many years as a security guard in New York before finding a peaceful existence in Delaware County. An excellent mechanic, he loved watching Westerns and the Three Stooges. He enjoyed animals, friends, and desserts. Mike was a quiet man who spoke more with his eyes and by giving you those looks which could just as easy express sarcasm, humor, or compassion. His gentle curmudgeon facade covered a warmth and love that made everyone who met him want to be his friend. He will be sorely missed.
