Morgan A. Fancher, 25, of Walton passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Delaware Valley Hospital in Walton,N.Y.

Morgan was born on August 3, 1991 in Cooperstown, the daughter of John Fancher and Cheri Murphy.

Morgan was a Home Health Aide for U. S. Care of Oneonta, a job she loved. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her baby boy Oliver, who was the light of her life. Whenever she had a chance she would go fishing and hiking, kayaking, music events, dancing, or enjoying life any way she could with her family and numerous friends. She will be missed by all who came to know and love her crazy sense of humor, contagious laugh, and beautiful smile.

Morgan is survived by her loving family, son, Oliver and his Father Ian Chambers of Walton. Father, John (Terri) Fancher of Walton, Mother, Cheri Murphy (Charlie Schaufelberger) of Sodus Bay, NY; sisters, Courtney and Kelsey Fancher of Newark, NY; Grandparents, Roy Murphy (MaryLou Gladstone) of Unadilla, NY, Joyce Murphy of Downsville, NY, Aunts and Uncles, Brian (DeEtta) Murphy of Downsville, Beth (Kevin) O'Brien of Walton; Carl Fancher of Walton; Cindy (Daryl) Bakker of Walton; special nephew, Cuyler, and several cousins and close friends. She was predeceased by her Grandparents, Elizabeth and Russell Tietjen, Carlton P. Fancher, and her Uncle Philip Murphy.

Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, October 29, 2016 from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend Street, Walton where services will be held at 1 PM with the Rev. Bert More, officiating. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
