Nancy D. Kingsbury, 72 of Otego, formerly of Walton passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at home.

Nancy was born in Walton on April 12, 1937 the daughter of the late Clair and Carrie (Puffer) Gray. In 1954 she married Myrn Kingsbury. He died in 2002. Nancy was employed for 32 years at the Delaware County Infirmary. Nancy loved flowers, puzzles and feeding the birds.

Nancy is survived by three daughters, Melodie Kingsbury of Otego, Victoria Kingsbury of Harpersfield, Karen (Mark) Decker of Franklin, two sons, Ricky Kingsbury of Walton, David (Kristie) Kingsbury of Sidney, 9 grandchildren, Brian, Ward Jr., Wayne, Yvonne, Megan, Maureen, Nikita, Steven, Andrew, 4 great-grandchildren, 3 sisters, Dorothy Seymour of Sidney, Janet (Bud) McClenathan of Florida, Dora Curtain of Walton, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by brothers, Mike, Jerry, Clair Jr., and James, 3 sisters, Harriet, Mary and Clarabell.

Friends and relatives are invited to call on Friday, June 26, 2009 from 6 to 8 PM at the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend St., Walton, NY. Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
