Natalie J. Shields, 93, of Walton, passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at Robinson Terrace in Stamford, following a long illness.

Natalie was born on November 11, 1922 in Brooklyn, the daughter of the late Floyd and Goldie F. (Locke) Kelly. On June 22, 1943 she married Herb Shields at Calvary Baptist Church in New York City.

Natalie is survived by her loving family, husband, Herb, daughter, June Y. Shields of Lynbrook, LI; sons, Peter P. Shields and Timothy P. Shields, and several cousins. She was predeceased by her brother, Lincoln Kelly, sister in laws, Adelaide, Grace, Lillian, Evelyn, Edna, and Miriam.

Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, March 7, 2016 from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend Street, Walton where services will be held at 1 PM with Rev. Jay O'Connor, officiating. Burial will follow in the Walton Cemetery.
