Obituary

Nicholas J. Dungan, 11, of DeLancey passed away Friday evening, April 24, 2015 at Albany Medical Center, as a result of injuries suffered in an ATV accident.

Nick was born on February 13, 2004, the son of Greg and Kathy Primus Dungan. He was in 5th grade. Nick was a warm, kind and creative spirit who had a deep love of animals, The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit, and any other world he could imagine and create. Sculpting was his favorite, as well as pajamas, his cat, Jenkins, his brothers, Noah who was not just a brother but also best friend and Cooper who's laughter he loved so much, his Mom and Dad, Nana and Papa, and the rest of his family. He loved having his buddies over to go outside and recreate movies, recite funny quotes, and jump on the trampoline. His favorite holiday was Christmas just like daddies.

Nick is survived by his mom and dad, Kathy and Greg, brothers, Noah and Cooper at home; grandparents, Roz & "LJ" Doig of Walton; Frank & Renee Hopps of Walton; Robert Primus of Endicott; aunts and uncles, Jen and Lee Abrams, Ft. Plain; Jean and Mike Ledson, Brooklyn; Christine Ledson, PA; Angela and Jim Vernooy, Walton; and Heather and Bill Padgett, Walton; and several cousins. He was predeceased by great-grandparents, Ed and Blanche Cook.

Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 from 5 to 7 PM at the New Hope Community Church, 45 Stockton Ave, Walton, where services will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 1 PM. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
